We're staying with a friend of mine from high school that I reconnected with on Facebook a couple months ago. Gotta love Facebook. He lives on the side of a mountain overlooking the city of Portland. His girlfriend runs a non-profit called the Pixie Project that acts as a shelter/fostering and finding homes for cats and dogs. They are fostering a kitten that is the cutest creature ever. The other animals are amazing with her. Including Chandler the dog, she gets away with almost anything with him, riding his tail like a horse, chewing on his ears.
