Lewis and Clark Hwy

Stopped in Orofino, ID for the night. The drive was amazing today, took the scenic route Lewis and Clark Highway through Idaho. We stopped at Lolo Hot Springs for a dip in some hot water pool (sweet!). It was great there and there were only 10 people there. The hot water was piped into the pool right out of a crack in the rocky earth that you could see in the corner of the pool. The highway followed an shallow racing river in a narrow valley with mountains on both sides of the road. Winding down and down, around and around...so many rivers here, rushing through the mountains. The snowmelt feeds the rivers and makes them swell.
